Well, it’s not 24 hours since the anxiously awaited royal birth happened yesterday afternoon in Atlanta GA. Wait, you say, what were Princess Kate and HRH William doing in Atlanta GA? Not THAT royal birth, (after all this is The Panda Chronicles) Lun Lun of Zoo Atlanta gave birth to twins, much to the surprise and delight of everyone, including, it seemed, Lun Lun.
But here at The Panda Chronicles, we are dedicated to bringing you panda satire when news like this (or anything else we can make to be about pandas, even when it isn’t) hits the streets! Of course we rushed to our drawing table (as soon as we quit jumping up and down and shrieking like a girl) to do a special edition of the Panda Chronicles. And no, Bruce S., there will NOT be a ”Twinkies Tuesdays” as a regular feature. You can just forget it.

The torch bears have new jobs as “cub reporters”
